The Leader’s Twofold Perspective

You don’t want to be out of touch with your people. If you get too far from the issues people face, the struggles they experience, and what it’s like in their day-to-day lives, your preaching and leading can lack the depth which brings the Bible to life.

On the other hand, many well-meaning pastors don’t understand the other, just as necessary perspective. When you lack the view from above, ministries flounder, key leaders quit and money can be missing.

Today’s video shares both perspectives. Great leaders lead from both areas.

It’s akin to what we call “servant leadership.” If you have too much “servant,” your ministry lacks direction and accountability.

When you don’t include “servant,” ministry can suffer and our hearts easily wander.
