Overcome Emotional Hurdles to Delegation

Leading well requires the leader to make a lot of adjustments.

Some of the necessary adjustments are intellectual: We need to learn things we do not know. I certainly did.

But, in my case, most of the things I needed to change required a change in how I felt about it. These emotional hurdles prevented me from being as effective as I could be. When I increased my ability to delegate, the effectiveness of my ministry escalated.

Maybe you have encountered these emotional hurdles, or what could be called stages of emotional development in delegating. If you have already worked through these challenges, this video can help you bring along some of your leaders.

Helpful? Please forward this to a friend who can benefit from seeing delegation in a new light. Maybe it would help the friend, or maybe it could help someone that friend leads.
