Ministry Myth: God Does It All

Believing this Ministry Myth results in lackluster ministry.

If God truly does it all, then I don’t have to do anything.
•  I don’t have to prepare for sermons
• I don’t have to lead
• I don’t have to develop myself as a leader
• I don’t have to deal with difficult situations. I just wait and see what happens.
• I don’t have to surrender my temper to God
• I can knee-jerk react. Then when things fall apart, I can just say, “Well, I guess God did not want it to happen.”

The big problem with this myth is that the Bible does not support it.

There are very few things God did by Himself. He created the world by Himself. He raised Jesus from the dead without any human intervention.

But most things God did, He did not do alone.

Today’s video shares why you should not believe, and definitely don’t follow, this Ministry Myth.
