Be More Obedient

If someone does not obey in the things they know, does it make sense that God would tell them anything else?

That’s not absolute, of course. God is a gracious God, full of mercy.

I’ve come across leaders who dismiss disobedience in their own lives personally, then they wonder why God isn’t doing more in their organizational lives.

Every time is a good time to do a gut check.

What are the areas of your life where you hear the “still, small voice” of the Holy Spirit beckoning you?

Here are some gut check questions:

  • What do you do regularly that are not aligned with what God wants?
  • Are you sinning?
  • If you saw your life from another person’s perspective, what would you see that needs to be obedient?

The wise person does not wait until an event before they make changes. Waiting until later to obey God can cost you in ways you can never recover.
